Hello!

 

My name is Naomi Smith, I am a forty something, married mother of two young boys, who lives in Cheltenham, Victoria.

 

I have a Bachelor of Business, a Certificate IV in Celebrancy and work full-time in marketing and communications in the education sector.

 

I love a wedding and to have the honour of marrying couples, is very special, rewarding and exciting!

 

I became a celebrant because when I think back to my own wedding day, I remember the smiling faces of our family and friends, and thinking how wonderful it was that our guests were there to share our special day and celebrate our love and happiness.   Then I thought of the priest that performed our ceremony and wondered how joyous it must be for wedding officiators to be able to share these special occasions with other happy couples. 

 

I am a celebrant, the person that unites two people in marriage. I am given the privilege of performing the ceremony, telling their story and helping to celebrate their love.

 

My style is professional, but relaxed.  I like to draw on emotion that touches the heart with sincerity and if appropriate, humour.  I am trustworthy, friendly, non-judgemental, organised and reliable.

 

If you choose me as your celebrant, I will listen to you and your ideas, offer support, advice and encouragement and provide you with all the assistance you need to ensure your special day is all that you dreamed.
